Our team of experienced hygienists is dedicated to helping you maintain a healthy, confident smile through personalized, gentle care. Regular hygiene visits are one of the best ways to prevent dental problems, protect your gums, and keep your smile looking and feeling its best.

Even with great brushing and flossing, it’s easy for plaque and tartar to build up in hard-to-reach areas. Professional cleanings remove buildup that at-home care can’t reach, helping to prevent recurrent gum disease and maintain periodontal health.

Why Schedule a Hygiene Visit?

  • Thorough Cleaning & Protection – Removes plaque and tartar above and below the gum line.
  • Healthier Gums – Prevents and manages inflammation before it becomes more serious.
  • Brighter, Fresher Smile – Polishing lifts surface stains and leaves your mouth feeling clean.
  • Personalized Guidance – Our hygienists provide tailored tips for brushing, flossing, and home care.

Types of Cleanings We Offer

We offer three types of professional cleanings, depending on your needs:

  • SPT (Supportive Periodontal Therapy) – Regular maintenance visits designed for patients with a history of gum disease to keep gums healthy and prevent recurrence.
  • SRP (Scaling and Root Planing) – A deeper cleaning performed with local anesthetic for patients with active periodontitis, removing plaque and tartar from beneath the gums to help treat infection.
  • Prophy – A thorough cleaning and polishing of the teeth above the gum tissues for patients not affected by gum disease.
Your doctor and hygienist will recommend the type of cleaning that’s best for your oral health.

A Preventive Partnership

Our hygienists work closely with Drs. Barack, Gupta and your general dentist to monitor your gum health, detect changes early, and create a care plan that fits you. Most patients benefit from cleanings every six months, while those with periodontal concerns may need visits every 3–4 months for the best results.

Routine visits today protect your smile for years to come.
