Office Coordinator/ Education Coordinator  

Patti Alvarez joined our practice in 1994. She is presently our public relations and marketing director. She is always looking for ways to enhance communication between our office and referring practices. Patti organizes the continuing education programs for our staff as well as referring dental professionals.

FUN FACT: Patti  enjoys movies, excersize and travel.
 
 
  Patient Coordinator
Sandi Gluck has been our dedicated new patient coordinator since 2000. With 27 years of dental experience, Sandi can ensure a smooth path from your first appointment to the completion of treatment. Sandi is always happy to answer your questions and and address your treatment needs.
 
FUN FACT: She loves to share vacation stories with you or share pictures of her grandchildren.
 
  Insurance Coordinator
 
Kerri Danicic has been with our practice since 1998. She has gone from Clinical Coordinator to Surgical Assisting and now  she will provide you with all your dental benefits and any related insurance information to fit your needs. Kerri is always happy to guide you through any questions and concerns.
 
FUN FACT: Kerri enjoys camping and playing roulette in Las Vegas.
 
Scheduling Coordinator

Renya James directs appointment assignments and is your first contact with us when calling our office. She will make every effort to accommodate your busy schedule. Renia's  friendly personality and her ability to make people feel comfortable make her a great asset to our team. 
 
FUN FACT:  Renya is a movie buff.  Her all time favorite is Goodfellas. 

Office Liaison/Certified Dental Assistant

Kimberly is decicated to helping you with any questions regarding scheduling, treatment planning, costs and financing. Kimberly takes pride in delivering unforgettable service to our patients. She is a board certified dental assistant and has a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences. Kimberly's smile is just the first of the great smiles to come, especially yours.
 
FUN FACT: She's a HUGE Minnesota Vikings fan!!!! 

Surgical Assistant/Implant Coordinator

Wioletta Ciesla has been our surgical assistant and implant coordinator since 2007. An extremely skilled surgical assistant, Wioletta provides a calm treatment atmosphere for our patients. As our implant coordinator, she insures that our treatments are smoothly choreographed with your dentist. Wioletta heads our patient implant education program.  Wioletta  is in the process of completing her R.N. degree.

FUN FACT: Wioletta completed her pre-nursing studies with a 4.0 grade point average...AWESOME!

Surgical Assistant

Renia Dawod joined our practice in 2006. Her training quickly shifted from assisting the hygienists to surgery where she showed an affinity for creating a relaxing environment for our patients. Renia’s attention to detail and gentle demeanor virtually guarantees a pleasant experience for your surgery.
 

FUN FACT: Renia is fluent in three languages and enjoys belly dancing.

 

Periodontal Hygienist

Cathie Elias has been practicing dental hygiene since 1976. Her goal is to help improve our patients' oral and physical health with a smile.Cathie is our certified "Smoking-Cessation" counselor. Please let us know if you are interested in her professional guidance. Cathie has traveled  to Guatemala with Rotary International to work at Ak'Tenamit, a Mayan school. "

Periodontal Hygienist

Jody Janczak, R.D.H.,B.S., joined our practice in 1999 upon graduating from Harper College’s dental hygiene program where she earned the coveted Golden Scaler Award. Jody has always enjoyed the rewards and challenges of practicing dental hygiene in clinical periodontics. After a decade of treating patients in both general dentistry and periodontics, she decided to dedicate her time fully to this office. She strives to provide the very best in periodontal care while keeping her patients comfortable.

FUN FACT: This mom of two is also a certified personal trainer.

Periodontal Hygienist

Allison Martin is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with twenty years of hygiene experience. She has mastered the art and science of periodontal tissue management with a gentle touch. She also coordinates our in-office continuing education programs. Allison is presently the president of the Lake County Dental Hygienists Society.

FUN FACT: Allison also performs belly dancing in her free time.

Clinical Coordinator/Inventory Coordinator

Larsa Warda is an integral part of our hygiene team at Old Orchard Periodontics. She takes radiographs and assists the hygienists with charting and patient management. Larsa manages inventory for the entire office and is also trained in surgical assisting. Her caring and responsible nature makes her a valuable member of our team!
 
FUN FACT: Larsa recently married her British love in September 2011!
